Most garages we are asked to clear contain redundant or unused gardening equipment, old bikes, carpet, paint tins, mattresses, car parts, electric appliances, garden pots and compost, exercise equipment, tools, machinery, workbenches, storage boxes full of toys or we are asked to clear the entire contents leaving just an empty garage.

Any items we remove that are unusable will be sent to licensed waste transfer stations where it will be transported to suitable locations for legally compliant disposal or treatment. This minimises the amount sent to landfill.

Materials that are suitable for recycling include timber, metals, paper items, cardboard, some plastics, car batteries, small electrics and white and brown goods including fridges, freezers, TVs and microwave ovens.

Any furniture, tools, books & bric-a-brac items that are fit for reuse are donated to local charities and distributed to those in need.
